A regenerative medicine option for the western Chesterfield community
Joint Freedom serves Midlothian residents from across western Chesterfield County: Brandermill and Woodlake along the Swift Creek Reservoir, the established Salisbury and Hallsley communities, the corridor around Westchester Commons, and the residential developments along Robious and Old Buckingham Road.
Midlothian patients tend to share a profile we know well: active families with school-age athletes, working professionals managing long commutes, and retirees who want to stay active in walking groups, golf leagues, and the cycling and tennis clubs that thread through the area. The conditions we treat reflect that lifestyle.
Our Henrico clinic is reachable from Midlothian via Powhite Parkway, Route 60, or the Chippenham corridor. Drive time runs twenty-five to thirty-five minutes depending on traffic and starting point. We offer the full regenerative medicine protocol library: PRP, hyaluronic acid joint injections, Class IV deep-tissue laser, hormone optimization, and medically supervised weight loss. Every protocol is delivered under the supervision of April L. Ashworth, AGPCNP-BC.

Three reasons Midlothian residents make the drive
01
Worth the drive for the difference
Midlothian patients tell us the same thing repeatedly: there are pain clinics closer, but ours is the one focused on non-surgical regenerative protocols rather than referral pipelines. The drive is worth getting that approach.
02
Schedule built around your day
We offer early morning, mid-day, and select evening appointments. We schedule with realistic Midlothian-to-Henrico drive times in mind, including a buffer when traffic is unpredictable on Powhite Parkway or 288.
03
One team, every visit
You see the same clinical team for consultation, treatment, and follow-up. Continuity of care matters when you are managing a chronic condition over months. April Ashworth oversees every treatment plan.

Frequently asked questions from Midlothian patients
Answers from our clinical team.
We hear this often, and the honest answer is that it depends on the visit type. First consultations and treatment days are worth coming in for, since your time with the clinical team is the difference. Routine follow-ups can sometimes be done by phone when appropriate. We will tell you when an in-person visit is necessary and when it is not.
Yes. We are a few minutes off the Powhite-to-I-195 corridor, with free patient parking directly outside the clinic entrance. We send detailed directions and a map link to all new patients.
Yes. Adolescent and youth athletic patients with chronic patellar tendonitis, runner's knee, or knee pain unresponsive to PT are common in our practice. PRP and Class IV laser are commonly used. We coordinate with parents and prior physical therapy providers as appropriate.
Yes. Recurrent post-surgical pain after total knee replacement is something we treat regularly. Treatment options depend on imaging and exam findings. A free consultation is the right first step.
Yes, when our schedule allows. We do not guarantee same-day, but we typically see new patients within five to seven days. Call early in the week for the best chance at a quick appointment.
Your First Visit
Your first visit is a free thirty-minute consultation. We review your history, evaluate your case, and discuss which treatments make sense. If we can help, we build a plan together with clear timelines, expectations, and pricing. If we are not the right fit, we tell you that honestly.
