Who we are

Joint Freedom is a regenerative and restorative medicine practice in Henrico, Virginia, serving the greater Richmond area. We treat the kinds of musculoskeletal and metabolic problems that make active adults stop doing what they love. Joint pain, sports injuries, chronic inflammation, hormonal decline, and the quiet erosion of mobility, energy, and recovery that adds up over years.

Our approach is direct. We diagnose what is actually wrong. We use evidence-based treatments that work with your physiology, not against it. We monitor what we do, adjust based on what your body shows us, and tell you the truth about what we can and cannot do.

We are not a pain clinic that prescribes medication and waits for surgery. We are not a hormone clinic that runs you through a default protocol. We are not a weight loss clinic that hands you a prescription and a portion guide. We are a clinical practice built around the working hypothesis that most adults have more options than they have been told.

What makes us different

Three things that set Joint Freedom apart from the typical clinic offering similar services.

01

Diagnosis comes first

We do not begin treatment without understanding what is wrong. Comprehensive evaluation, lab work where appropriate, and clinical reasoning come before anything else. Treatment without diagnosis is guessing, and guessing is how most patients end up worse off than they started.

02

Personalization is real

Every protocol is built around your specific case. Your physiology, your history, your goals, your timeline. We do not run default templates. We build plans that fit your case and adjust them as your body responds.

03

Honesty is structural

We will tell you when treatment is appropriate, when it is not, when it is working, when it is not, and when something else is the better path. We are not the right fit for every patient, and we say so directly when that is the case. Honesty is how outcomes hold up over time.

Our approach in practice

Most patients arrive having tried something that did not work. Conservative care that plateaued. A medication that masked the problem without solving it. A clinic that ran them through a default protocol without evaluating their actual case. Sometimes a recommendation for surgery that does not feel right.

Our first visit is built around understanding what brought you in, what you have already tried, and what you are actually looking for. From there, we build a plan that is honest about what is achievable, what it will take to get there, and what to expect along the way.

The goal is not to keep you in our clinic forever. The goal is to give you back the function, energy, and mobility that you came in to recover, then send you back to your life.

Who we treat

Joint Freedom is built for active adults whose bodies are not keeping up with their lives. The patients we see most often are:

  • Active adults with chronic joint pain who want to avoid surgery and stay in their sport
  • Patients age 14 to 99 dealing with arthritis, age-related wear, or hormonal decline
  • Adults who have tried conservative care, cortisone, or medication and need something that addresses the underlying problem
  • Athletes recovering from injury who want to come back stronger, not just back to baseline
  • Patients seeking medically supervised weight loss with diagnostic depth and ongoing monitoring
  • Men with diagnosed low testosterone who want clinical care, not a default online protocol

If your case does not fit one of these descriptions, we still encourage a consultation. Many of our most successful patients arrived without expecting to.
